Make your own Face Mask

Make your own face mask!

In NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian’s recent address, the wearing of face masks was strongly recommended if visiting areas of known transmission, in addition to the supermarket, places of worship and in enclosed spaces where social distancing cannot be always guaranteed, such as public transport.

If you don’t like the look of those boring standard face masks – why not ‘fancy up’ your ensemble and make your own?!

You can choose your own fabric and follow these simple steps – or if you’re not too confident with a needle and thread – find a friend who’s handy on the old Janome to help you out.

If you’re looking for somewhere to wear your newly fashioned face mask, check out our outings calendar.  Due to social distancing measures, places are strictly limited on all outings, so book early by calling 9558 6800 to secure your spot.
