About Connect: Inner West Community Transport Group

Background of Connect

Connect: Inner West Community Transport Group have provided transport services since 1983. We are formerly known as Leichhardt Marrickville Community Transport Group.

We are a not-for-profit organisation providing accessible transport services to people living in Sydney’s Inner West. Specifically, we cater for those living north and south of Parramatta Road in the former Leichhardt and Marrickville LGAs.

What is Community Transport?

Community Transport is a door to door transportation service. We help people who can’t afford or have difficulty using private or public transport.

Everyone should have access to transport services in order to carry on with life. Visit our Getting Started page to find out whether you’re eligible.

Who funds Connect: Inner West Community Transport Group?

Two different programs fund our services:

  • The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and
  • The NSW Community Transport Program (CTP)

The project is independently operated by and for the community.

What services do we offer?
