Easing of Covid Restrictions – Update

As the state reaches the 95% double vaccination rate, estimated to occur on or before 15 December 2021, there will be a general easing of restrictions.

Most notable are the changes to vaccination status, ‘checking in’, and the wearing of masks.

VACCINATION STATUS

When the restrictions in NSW ease, the rules, set out by NSW Health will be relevant to all people in NSW, regardless of their vaccination status.

This means that you should no longer be asked to show proof of vaccination.  We recommend however, that you keep it with you at all times ‘just in case’ to ensure there is no confusion and all clients are permitted entry to any venue visited.

CHECKING IN

While many places such as shops and cafes will no longer require you to ‘check-in’, COVID-19 Safe check-ins will still be required for hospitals, aged and disability care facilities, gyms, places of worship, funerals or memorial services, pubs, small bars and clubs.

Again, please continue to carry Covid Check-in cards if you don’t have your Covid clearances stored on a smart phone.

MASKS

Public Health Orders will continue to require staff and clients to wear masks in all our vehicles at all time.
