Winter Social Outings Calendar – Out Now!

By 12/05/2021August 2nd, 2023No Comments

Our new winter social outings calendar is out now.

Connect has loads of new and exciting outings for our clients to enjoy on the winter calendar.

Don’t miss out on the Vivid Festival dinner cruise, where we will cruise around Sydney Harbour watching the city’s stunning display of lights.  And for those who love the boat trips – we also have one of our popular cruises back – The Riverboat Postman.

Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the lower Hawkesbury River as we cruise along delivering mail and other essentials to the river-access-only settlements upriver from Brooklyn. All the while, enjoying a hot cuppa, ANZAC bikkies and a spot of lunch.

A new and fun outing on this calendar is Pinot & Picasso.  This is a painting class where everyone receives instruction enabling them to complete their own masterpiece – all while enjoying a sneaky glass (or two!) of wine, some nibbles and a chat!  It is said that the ‘pinot’ has often been a great enabler in unleashing one’s inner ‘Picasso’.

We have recently introduced new ten dollar outings.  These are shorter outings and include visits to museums, galleries, local places of interest and specialty shopping.   We usually have at least one ten dollar outing per week – they are marked clearly on the calendar.

With the weather getting cooler, we have more indoor options for clients to enjoy.  There are shopping trips, lunches, markets, historical locations and scenic drives.   Something for everyone!    Be sure to note the booking windows for each outing  and book your spot early to avoid disappointment as places will fill up fast!

It is still mandatory that masks be worn on all services by both staff and clients.  We ask that all clients wash continue to wash their hands before being picked up and use the sanitiser available throughout the day.  If you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of cold or flu, we ask that you do not travel.

Get there with care!
