We offer an individual door-to-door service for medical related appointments. We can take you to any health appointment including the GP, hospital, physiotherapist, specialist and more. This service is offered Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm.
We have a car with a trained driver who will help you from your home to the car. They then drive you to where you need to go and then help you from the car to your destination. If you book a return trip, the driver will drive you home after your visit or appointment.
When you know the dates of your appointments, please call the office immediately on 9558 6800 (between 8:00am and 4:00pm weekdays) to book your medical transport.
Doctors and hospitals can be quite flexible in appointment times when they know you’re using community transport. If Connect: Inner West services are booked out for your appointment time, please tell the doctors/hospital receptionist and ask if the date or time can be changed.
If you know in advance that you need to go to two locations, let the office know and we’ll do our best to accommodate that.
Balmain Hospital is the Centre for STRONG Medicine, a program that uses exercise-based medicine to help older people. Three times a week, we transport our Clients to help maintain their strength and flexibility.
You can also access other medical services while you’re there.
