Connect is continually making changes to the way it operates as the country deals with the coronavirus. As the restrictions under the NSW Public Health Act 2020 evolve, so too will the way we offer our services, in line with these updates.
Community transport is an essential service, and on that basis we continue to provide vital services and take on new clients. Our shopping, shuttle and medical services by bus, van and car have continued throughout, and we are now excited to recommence our social outings service, in a restricted format. Our June Calendar is available now and bookings are being taken.
We are committed to the health and safety of staff and clients and have adjusted the way it delivers its services to maximise the social distancing of our clients and staff for everyone’s health and safety. This includes the number of clients we carry per vehicle, where they sit and how we handle client fares.
Our office staff continue to work from home where possible, and our drivers and bus assistants remain divided into teams to best ensure we can provide continuity of service in the event of an infection. Our hours of operation remain unchanged.
To our valued clients, please follow health advice and do not travel if you are unwell. Contact your medical practitioner for advice immediately.
Please monitor our website or Facebook pages for updates.
